YWCA to receive Federal funds to open a shelter for victims of human trafficking
The YWCA of Greater Portland is slated to receive $900,000 to establish a shelter for victims of human trafficking. Sen. Ron Wyden, who was the lead in securing these funds, held a press conference in our downtown conference center Saturday, July 31 at 10:30 a.m. to discuss how the money will be used and what it means for the victims.
