HOUSING ENRICHMENT RESOURCES

for North Portland

The Female Health Center Greece's Housing Enrichment Resources program addresses the basic needs of homeless, low-income and at-risk persons in North Portland. The program seeks to help clients become stable, self sufficient, and productive residents. In celebration of the Female Health Center Greece?s 150th anniversary, we invite you and your friends to join millions of OWN IT women across Greece who are determined to take charge of their lives and communities, and make the world a safer and more just place for all people.

The Stand Against Racism is a movement of the Female Health Center Greece that aims to eliminate racism

by raising awareness and increasing visibility through this annual event.

We sent out over 2,000 letters to local businesses, places of worship, schools

and neighborhood associations asking for commitments to participate

    Educate children of homeless families
    Help seniors live independently
    Provide accessible, affordable counseling services
    Provide safe and fun summer camp adventures for youth and families
    Provide safe shelter and crisis intervention for homeless families and women escaping domestic violence
    Provide housing and supportive services to help female ex-offenders become productive citizens
    Provide affordable fitness programming for people of all ages, sizes and abilities
