Most Wanted Volunteers:
• Food Bank Donation Coordinator for Yolanda House – Yolanda House receives monthly donations from the Oregon Food Bank on the last Tuesday of each month. The Coordinator would be responsible for picking up the order and bringing it to Yolanda House. Pick-ups are early in the morning. There is heavy lifting involved and you need access to a larger vehicle for pick-up. Prospective volunteers can email VanessaY@ywcapdx.org for more information.
• Target Donation Coordinator for Yolanda House – Yolanda House is in need of a volunteer who would be able to pick-up our weekly donations from the Tigard Target. Pick-up would take place in the early morning on Fridays. The Coordinator should be prepared for slightly heavy lifting and have access to their own vehicle. After drop-off, sorting of the donation is needed, but not required. Prospective volunteers can email VanessaY@ywcapdx.org for more information.
• Ceramic Class Instructor at East County Senior Center - The Ceramic Class is every Monday, 9 to 11 am. Participants provide their own greenware. We provide glazes and brushes. The instructor is responsible for firing the greenware in our kiln, tracking attendance, collecting and turning in fees, and picking up supplies at a ceramics store in Damascus. The class takes place at the Ambleside Center. Prospective volunteers can email KristinaJ@ywcapdx.org for more information.

Do you want to make a difference in your community?
Are you interested in helping women, children and seniors?
Do you believe in the mission of the YWCA? If so, we would love for you to come volunteer at the YWCA of Greater Portland.
We are looking for committed individuals and groups to complete projects and provide much needed support to our wonderful programs. Volunteer opportunities include reading to children, teaching computer skills to the elderly, helping at camp sessions or even working a booth to educate our community about the YWCA.
